Pio

Pio, combined with the Piaggio Ape, is the concept of a tough, loud, vocal, courier older gentleman.

He is an Italian older gentleman whose charming trait is his tousled mustache. He is easy-going yet impatient.   He is very proud of his work, and is filled with passion.

Piaggio Ape, the motif of Pio, was Italy's leading three-wheeled small, commercial vehicle developed in 1948.

Italy experienced a shortage of transportation vehicles after World War II. In 1947, Vespa's developer and aircraft designer Corradino D'Ascanio created the idea of making a three-wheeled small, commercial vehicle.

Early Apes started with 50cc, 125cc, or 150cc engines. Recently, the vehicles have been loaded with a 175cc engine.  Ape models are produced in various styles in Italy and India. The word “ape” means “honey bee” in Italian.

Rollis is a special scale car that combines classic cars with characters from the past. The classic cars that were thriving in the 1950s and the unique characters that ride in them are produced in limited quantities.

For true collectors, we pursued perfection by adding vibrant characters and paying attention to the smallest details to create the best possible product.

The body is not a die-casting, but an eco-friendly resin structure. It is a hand-made process, the main part of which is the attention to detail applied to each car through a plating treatment rather than spraying.

The Pio Series is available in an Emerald Green color.
